Brethren,

This has been a great year for Madison Lodge; and I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of our great fraternity!  The new year brings much work and growth for Madison Lodge.  We will being practicing earnestly for our up-coming inspection on Saturday January 21, 2012, which will be held at Chandler Lodge No. 138 at 9:00 am.  The following dates have been designated for ritual practice:

• Monday January 2, 2012 @ 7:00 pm
• Monday January 9, 2012 @ 7:30 pm
• Monday January 16, 2012 @ 7:00 pm (to be held at Chandler Lodge)

Our inspection this year is in the Master Mason Degree and as you know, we will need all of your help to put our best foot forward.  We still need help with many parts in the second section.  If you are willing to answer the call and help your Lodge, please respond to this email and let me know what part you are willing to commit to.  We will need all participants to attend the practices so that we can contend again this year for a ritual presentation award.  I know we can achieve great things together!

Additionally,  the new year brings Darby Chapter, Order of DeMolay to Madison Lodge.  The DeMolay Chapter previously met at Urania Lodge, but has moved to Madison Lodge; this will provide for a larger facility to grow, as well as more centrally located for our boys, parents and advisors.  The chapter is only as strong as the advisors and mentors we have helping.  Think about dedicating some of your time and knowledge to helping a young man become a better adult and role model in our community.  The Chapter meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday's at 7:00 pm.  We are recruiting boy ages 12 to 21 for membership.

As we celebrate the new year and remember the past, I wish each of you and your families a very safe and happy new year!  I look forward to seeing each of you in the coming year and many more to come!
